My Winter Chillout Playlist.

Hi all! Have you started back at work? Today was my first day back, but that doesn't mean the winter magic is over! We have a little while to go before we start getting those real Spring vibes. :) I have certain songs I like to listen to at different times of the year because some seem more fitting than others. :) This is my list of go-to Winter/Chillout songs! :)

Jessie Ware- Finish What We Started.
Cheesy, and the echo-y vocals create an ethereal feel. This is the kind of song which can make you all emosh and reflective, so keep some tissues nearby.

OneRepublic - Counting Stars
What could possibly be more magical than a song about counting stars?

Jessie Ware - Kind Of...Sometimes...Maybe
Slow beats and a groovy tune you can jam to. Hooo hooo hoooooo!! A really cool song if you just want a chilled out evening with some chocolates and a face mask :)

Clean Bandit - Symphony (feat. Zara Larsson)
The xylophone notes and slow build up bursting into a more danc-y tune means you can definitely rock out to the beats without any head-banging!

Clean Bandit - Rather Be ft. Jess Glynne
Again, it's more the beats and music in the background I prefer rather than the actual words. I like rocking out to this tune (in my own bedroom lol.) My favourite bit has to be the violin because it has this elegant feel to the song.

Oh Land - White Nights
Quite random, obscure and metaphysical. It's a song about dreams under a pillow, and all the drummers are wearing animal masks?! The regular beats give it a childlike feel.

Demi Lovato - Let It Go ("Frozen")
Can any Winter Playlist be complete without this Disney gem? Remains loyal to the original, but also loaded with bad-assery because of the rock music. Twinkly and soft, then cue the head-banging! YEAHHHH!!!

Lana Del Rey - Young and Beautiful
Tragic and sad. If a song was an old person, this would be it. Whimsical, mournful and dramatic. What more could you expect from Lana Del Ray?

Grace - You Don't Own Me ft. G-Eazy
This song is really strange because it's got quite a sad Lana Del Ray feel about it, along with the slow swaying beats. But then you have a rapper interlude which changes up the genre. Quite broken and interrupted probably makes it ultra-funky.

Rihanna - Diamonds
Ok. Let's put it out there. Lots of people think it's about drugs. I will stick with diamonds and sparkly stuff in the sky. I prefer the 'shimmery' feel the tambourines give rather than the beats.

John Legend-You & I Nobody In The World
A romantic tune you can jam to. Major power-couple vibes and passion!!

Take That - Rule The World
Again, epic mushness. The bits about the star give it that magical, celestial winter-y beautiful feel.
